Our school is committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment that empowers blind and visually impaired children in Uganda to reach their full potential. We believe that every child deserves access to education and opportunities that prepare them for a fulfilling and rewarding life. Our experienced educators and support staff are dedicated to helping our students develop essential life skills, academic knowledge, and vocational training.
At CEVIC, we recognize the unique needs and challenges facing blind and visually impaired children. That's why our programs and services are tailored to meet these needs and foster independence, confidence, and academic success. Our goal is to prepare our students for a bright and successful future, one in which they can contribute to their communities and achieve their dreams.

At CEVIC School for the blind, we believe that sight is just one
of many ways to perceive the world around us. Our mission is to
provide education and training that empowers blind and visually
impaired individuals to live full and independent lives. We strive
to create an environment that fosters innovation, creativity, and
inclusion, so that our students can achieve their full potential
and contribute to society in meaningful ways. With our commitment
to "Vision without sight," we are dedicated to breaking down
barriers and building a brighter future for all.

Having a disabled child in an African family is a nightmare. Most of the disabled children are raised by a single parent, mostly mothers. But there is this double tragedy, having more than one disabled child!

We sensitise the community about inclusion of the VI. More so, we engage in pushing for policy and laws, we have done well in presenting information and requests of a blind child in an organized way to ensure something important gets done.
